If you've ever questioned your worth...

you're not alone.
Every day presents an opportunity for seeds of doubt to creep in - whispering lies that cause you to doubt the value you bring into every space: your family, career, friendships and even brief encounters with strangers. Not everyone will see or discern your worth and I want you to be okay with that. Some things are hidden on purpose, waiting for someone with the right eyes to recognize what's been hidden in plain sight.
You were never meant to fit everywhere or be for everyone.
Rejection is real. And it stings. Even Jesus was rejected and yet He was the cornerstone (Psalm 118:22). Rejection doesn't define your worth; it reveals their blindness.

Imagine holding a rare, unrefined diamond. Without the proper knowledge and trained eyes, most would toss it aside thinking it was just a rock. But in the hands of someone who knows what they are holding, it becomes everything. The Bible speaks of a man who discovered treasure hidden in a field. With joy at what he found, he sold EVERYTHING y'all to buy that field! He knew that his new found treasure (the kingdom of heaven) was worth more than anything he could ever own (Matt 13:44).
Maybe you're the hidden treasure.
Maybe you're continually surrounded by people or in an environment who don't have the eyes to see what God placed on the inside of you. You carry value others may walk right past because it hasn't been given to them to know what they are in the presence of. But that doesn't change what you carry.
When you know your identity is rooted in Christ, when you understand your worth isn't based on acceptance from certain individuals, accolades, likes, or positions, you start to walk a bit differently. You stop begging people to see you. You realize, you've been chosen all along. You are set apart. And your value doesn't dimmish because someone else can't recognize it.
Someone with the right spiritual eyes will.
And when they do, they will be like the man who found the hidden treasure and with JOY, quickly moving to secure what he couldn't believe no one else had found. I emphasize the word JOY because folks should be genuinely excited to have you (such a treasure) in their midst!
In a world obsessed with visibility, don't forget, some of the most valuable people are hidden until the right eyes recognize their worth. Before you let another day go by questioning your worth, remember value isn't loud, but it's always present. Especially in you!
